modern women vs cooking

We all know the saying that a way to a man's heart is through his stomach. But when it comes to modern women in aprons, it's a rare sight. It seems they aren't winning all his love with their chicken roast or chocolate pudding.
 Men today complain that women are overwhelmed by their jobs, party life and sex life. They have very little time to think about what's for dinner. So they take the easy way out and buy something that they can quickly pop in the microwave.

The one main reason why men love women who can cook is because it reminds them of their moms. It might sound absurd but it's true. Men want to be assured that their family will be well taken care of. They don't want to spend half their salary on take-aways every month.
But should men really make this an issue? Does it really matter whether the woman you love can cook or not? i just think that as long as she can provide you with a meal at the end of each day, be it home cooked or not, things should be perfectly fine.
